SAD is a type of winter depression which affects an estimated half a million people in the UK every winter between September and April . One of the most common problems people with SAD experience is the low light levels found in the home during the darker months of the year , typically household lights are a warm white ( 2700K ) , these simulated Natural Daylight lamps are ( 6400K ) offering a much crisper whiter light and are ideal for reading lamps , garages , workshops , art studios and generally around the house . They are available in Both ES ( Screw fit ) and BC ( Bayonet ).

There is a micro helix range available in 5 , 7 and 9 watt and also a standard helix range available in a 11 watt , 15 watt , 18 watt , 25 watt and 30 watt variants .
